2- Tier Patio, Dykes of Gray

This project is definitely a contender for our favourite project of the year.
Our client, a lovely young couple, have bought one of the spacious new Springfield homes in Dykes of Gray. Like most gardens in the area, there was a significant slope to contend with in, so we had to consider soil retention, size and drainage when coming up with this solution.
The paving was this lovely Sawn Buff Sandstone, each paver measuring 900mm x 200mm. The main seating area, measuring 4m square is surrounded by planters. The patio is accessed by steps from the upper seating area and also from the lawn.
